Alberto is a passionate advocate for leadership both professionally and in his personal dealings. He has had a long distinguished career in local government, as a consultant and as university professor.

If you are visiting this site, you already know what I do, but this is some of what I have done throughout the years:
- I have earned a doctorate in law in 1984 at the University of Camerino, Italy.
- While completing my studies, I worked as a junior reporter for the national Italian newspaper “Il Tempo” – an experience that gave me confidence in writing and taught me much about effective communications.
- After working for a law firm in my hometown for a few months, I decided that local government was my passion and I accepted a CAO role with a number of small towns in Northern Italy.
- I married Silvana, the woman of my dreams, in 1988. In 1993 we moved to Vancouver, BC.
- I worked for a number of municipalities in BC, the last 12 years of them as the CAO for the District of Lake Country.
- I have done some consulting on the side and now I have decided that I want to do this as my next stage of life
- In 2009 I began a collaboration with the University of Northern British Columbia as an Adjunct Professor in the Political Science department. I teach a numbre of courses in the areas of leadership, administration, management and policy, especially, but not exclusively, tailored to local government perspectives.
The most important part of my life is my family: my beautiful wife Silvana, and my wonderful children, Victor and Grace.
